Terms of service
Clear information. Human decisions.
Effective August 18, 2026
These terms govern use of the WriteCall informational website and any separately authorized private-beta access.
Private-beta service
WriteCall organizes portfolio positions, cash, options activity, transaction history, assignments, and related metrics. Features, data sources, availability, and access may change during private development.
No investment, legal, or tax advice
WriteCall provides portfolio information, calculations, alerts, and decision-support tools. It does not act as a broker, execute trades, guarantee outcomes, or replace professional investment, legal, accounting, or tax advice. Users remain responsible for reviewing all information and making their own decisions.
Read-only access
Brokerage connections are intended for retrieving authorized account information during private beta. WriteCall does not currently provide automated trading or order submission. Users must maintain authority to access every connected account.
Data accuracy and availability
Brokerage, market, and calculated information may be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, or inaccurate. Users must verify positions, cash, prices, quantities, expiration dates, tax lots, and proposed actions directly with the applicable brokerage before making decisions.
Investment risk
Investing and options trading involve substantial risk, including loss of principal, assignment, exercise, liquidity, pricing, tax, and operational risks. Historical performance and modeled outcomes do not guarantee future results.
Acceptable use and security
Users may not access accounts without authorization, share credentials improperly, interfere with the service, attempt to bypass security controls, or use WriteCall unlawfully. Suspected credential exposure or unauthorized access must be reported promptly.
Third-party services
WriteCall may rely on third-party brokerage-connection, market-data, hosting, or infrastructure providers, including SnapTrade. Their separate terms and privacy policies may apply, and WriteCall is not responsible for third-party outages or changes.
Limitation and changes
To the extent permitted by law, WriteCall is provided on an “as available” basis without warranties of uninterrupted availability, completeness, or fitness for a particular trading decision. These terms may be updated as the private beta evolves; continued authorized use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
